ChatGPT and Senda
ChatGPT is OpenAI's AI assistant, for questions, drafting and analysis in a chat.
Connect ChatGPT to Senda and ask about your company's own orders, shipments, containers, documents and tally reports in plain words, and get HS code suggestions. The connection is read-only, and an admin can disconnect it.
Connecting an assistant comes with the Operations and Enterprise plans.
Where Senda stops
ChatGPT reads through Senda and never writes: it creates, changes, deletes and files nothing, sees document details but never the files, and reads only the company you sign in to. Its HS code suggestions are a starting point for your customs broker.
Using them together
Using ChatGPT with Senda
ChatGPT signs in to Senda once, with your approval, and then reads your company's records when you ask.
- 1
Add Senda to ChatGPT
In ChatGPT, add Senda as a custom MCP server, with Senda's server address and OAuth sign-in. Whether you can add one depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
- 2
Approve read access
Senda opens in your browser. Sign in, check that the page names the right company, and choose Allow read access.
- 3
Ask about your records
In a chat, choose Senda and ask, for example, which shipments are in transit and when each is due. Each answer links to the record in Senda.
- 4
Disconnect when you choose
An admin disconnects it under Connected assistants in Settings → Integrations, and access ends at once.
Each step was checked against Senda on 11 October 2026.
Keep what works
When to keep ChatGPT
- Keep using ChatGPT for drafting, research and everything else you already ask it. Connecting Senda adds your shipments to what it can answer from.
- Keep the record in Senda. Answers come from what your team recorded there, each with a link back to the record.
Start with your real workflow
See it on one of your own orders.
Tell us how your team works today, including the tools you keep. We walk one real order-to-shipment workflow through Senda with you, before anything is signed.
