Connect ChatGPT
Add Senda to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server and sign in to Senda.
ChatGPT connects to Senda by signing in: you approve the connection once in Senda, and ChatGPT can then read your company's records.
https://sendaship.com/api/mcpEnter it exactly as shown: no www. and no slash at the end. Some assistants compare it character by character with what Senda reports, and a different spelling fails to connect.
Add Senda
- In ChatGPT, open Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins).
- Select the plus button, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Senda. For the description, something like: Read-only access to our Senda shipments, orders and documents.
- Under Connection, enter the server address:
https://sendaship.com/api/mcp. - For authentication, choose OAuth. If ChatGPT shows advanced OAuth settings, leave the authorization server empty (or enter
https://sendaship.com) and keep dynamic client registration. - Read the warning, select I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
- Senda opens in your browser. Sign in if you're asked, check that the page names the right company, and choose Approve. The page also shows the name the app gave itself and where you'll be returned.
Ask a question
Install the new Senda plugin if ChatGPT asks. Then start a new chat, type @ and choose Senda, and ask, for example: "Which of my shipments are in transit, and when is each one due?" ChatGPT shows the Senda tools it calls, and each answer links to the record in Senda.
Disconnect
To disconnect, an admin opens Settings → Integrations and, under Connected assistants, disconnects it. Access ends at once. You can also remove Senda in the assistant itself.
