Connect Claude

Add Senda as a custom connector in claude.ai and the Claude desktop app, or to Claude Code.

Claude connects to Senda by signing in. A connector you add in claude.ai also works in the Claude desktop and mobile apps.

Server address
https://sendaship.com/api/mcp

Enter it exactly as shown: no www. and no slash at the end. Some assistants compare it character by character with what Senda reports, and a different spelling fails to connect.

claude.ai and the desktop app

On a Free, Pro or Max plan

  1. Go to Customize → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Senda and enter the server address: https://sendaship.com/api/mcp.
  3. If Claude asks how to authenticate, choose Sign in now. If it asks how to identify itself, choose Register automatically.
  4. Choose Add, then Connect.
  5. Senda opens in your browser. Sign in if you're asked, check that the page names the right company, and choose Approve. The page also shows the name the app gave itself and where you'll be returned.

On a Team or Enterprise plan

An Owner adds the connector once for the organization: Organization settings → Connectors, Add, then Custom (choose Web if asked), with the server address above and the same authentication choices. Each member then opens Customize → Connectors, finds Senda, and chooses Connect to sign in with their own Senda account.

In a chat, turn Senda on or off from the + button, under Connectors.

Claude Code

Add Senda
claude mcp add --transport http senda https://sendaship.com/api/mcp

Then run /mcp in Claude Code, select senda, and authenticate; or run claude mcp login senda from the terminal. Your browser opens Senda to sign in and approve. Add --scope user to the first command to use Senda in every project.

With an API key instead

Put an API key in SENDA_API_KEY on your machine, then:

Shell
claude mcp add --transport http senda https://sendaship.com/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer $SENDA_API_KEY"

The key's value is saved in Claude Code's configuration on this machine, so revoke it in Senda if the machine changes hands.

Disconnect

To disconnect, an admin opens Settings → Integrations and, under Connected assistants, disconnects it. Access ends at once. You can also remove Senda in the assistant itself. In Claude Code, claude mcp remove senda removes it from that machine.
