UNIPASS and Senda
UNIPASS is Korea Customs Service's electronic customs clearance system, where declarations are filed and cargo clearance progress is published.
Senda puts UNIPASS clearance lookups in the same workspace as your orders and shipments, so the team checking a container's clearance is looking at the same record as the team that booked it.
UNIPASS lookups are on the Operations plan.
Where Senda stops
Senda only looks things up. It files no import or export declaration in UNIPASS and doesn't act as your customs broker (관세사), and each lookup depends on Korea Customs' own service being available.
Using them together
Using UNIPASS with Senda
Senda asks Korea Customs directly and shows the answer beside the order and the shipment, read-only.
- 1
Open UNIPASS services
Choose UNIPASS services in Senda's sidebar. It lists each Korea Customs service and whether it is configured, with a link to the official portal.
- 2
Check a cargo's clearance
Open Cargo clearance progress, enter the cargo control number, or the master or house B/L number with its year, and choose Check clearance status. Senda shows the clearance stages Korea Customs reports for that cargo.
- 3
See it on the shipment
On a shipment arriving in or leaving Korea, add the B/L number. Senda checks Korea Customs when the shipment is opened, at most every six hours, and shows the status in Customs' own words with an English label.
Each step was checked against Senda on 11 October 2026.
Keep what works
When to keep UNIPASS
- Keep UNIPASS, through your customs broker, for filing. Declarations are made there, never from Senda.
- Keep the official portal for anything binding. Senda shows what Korea Customs reports, and links to the portal from its UNIPASS services page.
