Customs
On every planHS codes and US duty
Describe a product and Senda suggests HS codes drawn only from the US tariff schedule — strongest for wood, pulp, paper and steel. Then estimate US import duty with the General, Special and Column 2 rates kept apart, and a plain “cannot determine” when the answer depends on something it does not know.

- Suggesting HS codes from a product description, with confidence and the official wording
- Estimating US duty for a code, an origin and a value
- Reading the rate columns, and which one applies to your origin
- The source and schedule revision behind every estimate
What it will not do
- An estimate, not a determination: every figure carries a reminder to confirm with your licensed customs broker, because a listed rate is not always the rate collected.
- Per-unit and compound rates, ambiguous subheadings and unresolved origins return “cannot determine”.
- Classification is complete only for wood (44), pulp (47), paper (48), iron and steel (72) and steel articles (73). Korea and EU rates are indicative, for wood, pulp and paper only.
